Information You Submit
When you enter a name, telephone number, or address in a search form, that entry goes to the outside search provider responsible for the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of the search. A message sent through our contact channel contains only what you decide to share, and we use those details to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine server logs that may include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and access times. We review this information as a group to maintain reliable service and learn which resources visitors use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or comparable technology where applicable.
How Information Is Used
The limited information described above helps us run the service, diagnose errors, assess traffic, and refine content. We neither compile nor sell a visitor list. Individual user profiles are not created.
Outside Sites and Services
Links may lead to government portals, Maryland and Prince George's County records offices, library collections, or outside search services. Information provided after following a link is controlled by that destination's privacy terms rather than ours. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which an independent company supplies.
When Information Is Shared
Companies that host or support the site may process server-log information for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatically collected data already described. We may disclose available information in response to valid legal process, but do not otherwise share visitor information.
Safeguarding Your Information
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only for as long as the stated operational purposes require. Since there are no user accounts, we hold no site password or account profile belonging to you.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent personal data, and we will remove it.
Maryland Privacy Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act of 2024, Ch. 455, effective October 1, 2025, gives covered Maryland residents rights that may include access, correction, deletion, and limits on certain uses, disclosures, sales, or sharing of covered personal data. It also provides for equal treatment when a person exercises a covered right. Because our holdings are minimal, a request will usually involve checking the contact mailbox and server logs for information we can remove. Send a request through the Contact page.
Government public records are excluded from the Act. Records kept by Hyattsville, Prince George's County, or Maryland agencies therefore remain under the control of the public custodian. A request for an agency record or its correction must go to that office under the Maryland Public Information Act, Md. Code Ann., General Provisions ยงยง 4-101 through 4-601, and any record-specific law. We cannot alter or remove those government files.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. By continuing to use the service after an update is posted, you agree to the new version.
